LazPaint is a complete image editing tool that maybe doesn't offer us as much benefits as Gimp or Photoshop, but it allows us to apply quite some effects, filters and corrections to our photographs.
The program allows us to resize images, turn them to one side or another, play with a lot of color parameters, use different drawing tools or apply filters to soften, pixel or highlight images.
Other LazPaint possibilities include: the classical magic wand used to make easy selections, gradient tools or 'negative' effects for the colors of an image. They can all be found in the upper toolbar, just a click away.
LazPaint is a respectable alternative for the programs mentioned in the first paragraph. It will hardly help you to complete very complex photography jobs due to not having all the desirable tools, but it will give you the possibility to make a quick and effective fix at every moment.
